The Design Process

If you’ve been here before, when I first started this blog a few month back, you probably noticed all the changes I have been making to the site design lately, right? I haven’t been writing much in the past few weeks because I spent most of my free time learning the ins and outs of Wordpress (the blogging platform used on this site), and changing the template design to better fit my needs.
I like where the look of my blog is going and I hope you do too. My goal is to make this site easy to read, easy to navigate and also pleasing on the eyes. If you have any suggestions for me, than please contact me to let me know what they are, and I’ll consider adding them to the site.

Now that the new look of my blog is almost done, I can start writing again :) . I would like to know what are you most interested in reading about! Let me know by leaving comments on this page or contacting me via e-mail. I have lots of interesting things to write about, so I’ll start there and wait for some of your feedback.

Here’s a few things I’ll be writing about here on my blog:

  • Privateers
  • Racing Stories
  • Off Road Photography
  • Riding Tips
  • Biography

Feel free to add to that list please! And if you want to see my photography work, head on over to www.sr21photography.com for all my latest photos.

Peace,
SR

im in a 11th grade digital photo class, have to make a slide show about your photography, and a little history of what got you started in it and anything else you can tell me!
  • Hi Cody!
I feel honored you're making a slide show about my photography :)

Well, I got started with photography back in 1999, because I was doing my own website and wanted to include photos from the races I went to on it's pages. I started taking photos at the races to post them on my website during the week, and found out that I really liked photography.

I kept doing it off and on over the years, and it grew on me more and more. When I retired from racing in 2006, I decided to take it seriously and started learning about it to improve my photography skills. I bought better equipment, and I started shooting Supercross and Motocross races in 2008.

My photography got better at every races I shot, and I know take it very seriously. I hope to one day make money with it and be my main source of income, become a professional photographer. It takes hard work and lots of commitment, and I'm looking forward to it!

I hope this will help you for your project, let me know if you want to know more about it ok?
    Good Luck!

    A few ideas:
-Definitely need some good Mitch Payton stories...
-It would be cool to hear more of how you are involved in the video game programming world and what kinds of things you do to get a game to the app world.
-Would love to hear your thoughts on what is going on in the racing world nowadays...whether you like the new changes to the MX Nationals or not...what you think about J-Law (okay, maybe that is a dead horse that does not need any more beating)...do you think that the Barcia kid really is the next big thing?...something along those lines would be great.
  • Thanks for the suggestions Derek.
I agree Mitch Payton stories are a must...I'll have to dig a little :)
