How can you blitz a whoops section like a pro
Posted by ronronmx in Riding Tips on November 24th, 2009
Welcome to my third writeup on riding tips! For this new article, I chose to talk about the infamous Whoops Section! Just hearing these 2 words together makes most people tremble in fear (ok I’m overdoing it…or am I?). For those of you who don’t know what “blitzing” means, it’s basically when you keep both your front and rear wheels from dropping in-between 2 whoops and stay on top of the valleys all the way through. Correctly blitzing a whoops section is one of the toughest thing you can do on a dirt bike – of course it also depends on the size and steepness of the whoops in question – much harder then jumping a big triple or going through a rhythm section.
How to relax before a race and have more energy
Posted by ronronmx in Riding Tips on November 17th, 2009
Everyone gets anxious and nervous before a race, even the fastest riders in the world, and if you don’t, it probably means you don’t give a rat’s a$$ about racing and you should look for something new to do on the weekends…
Stress is a funny thing, it can really drain all your energy, and before you know, you’re already tired just sitting on the starting line! If you can learn how to control your anxiety better and not let it get to you during the race weekend, you’ll have much more energy on and off the bike.

New iphone game delayed
Posted by ronronmx in Miscellaneous on October 11th, 2009
It’s been almost 1 month now since we submitted our new game, “2XL ATV OffRoad”, to Apple for revision, and things didn’t go as smoothly as the submition process for our previous iPhone game, “2XL Supercross”, which got approved in just over 1 week.
I’m sure that Apple is drowning under the amount of apps they must recieve and review every week, and that’s probably why our new offroad game isn’t availble in the app store yet. 2 weeks after we submitted a final build of “2XL ATV OffRoad” to apple, we heard back from them and they had rejected the game for a new multiplayer feature we put in. I won’t get into it because I don’t want to get in trouble (the reason why they rejected the app is really…weird).
We fixed the issue right away and re-submitted the game back to apple on the same day. This happened almost 2 weeks ago now, and we’re hopping Apple will approve it this time…
Apparently, you don’t get back at the front of the line when you re-submit a game, and I sure hope Apple won’t reject the game again for another reason (although I would think they did tell us everything we needed to fix the first time around?!).
I am really excited for 2XL ATV OffRoad to come out, I think lots of people will be very pleased with the improvements we made to the graphics, gameplay and amount of content! So cross your fingers and keep checking the app store every other day looking for the game, hopefully it will be available soon.
2009 Motocross Des Nations Great Video
The guys at Moto Magazine in the UK did this killer film of the recent Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations in Italy. This is pretty much everything we love about the MXoN.

Here’s a few wallpapers I made as a test, of Ryan Dungey and Christophe Pourcel. I have been wanting to create lots of wallpapers with different looks for a while, and I finally got off my lazy butt and actually made a few…they are all available in 1920×1200, 1680×1050 and 1152×720 (wide-screen aspect 16:10, I will make 4:3 as well), just click on the resolution that best fits your screen to download the corresponding wallpaper.
If you like these, let me know If you guys like these, please let me know by leaving your comments at the bottom of the page and I’ll start making a lot more with different riders, as well as privateers. Also, if you have a particular rider in mind, tell me who and I’ll create a few wallpapers with him if I have good photos. Btw, all the wallpapers I create are with my own photos, just wanted to clear that up.
Tony Alessi kept his cool! (and didn’t beat up Josh Grant)
Posted by ronronmx in Racing News on September 30th, 2009
I have a little story about Tony Alessi that I’ve been wanting to share with everyone ever since I got back from the Colorado race in Lakewood. It’s actually a good story, and I was pleasantly surprised by Tony’s reaction, and I have to say that if I was in his shoes at that moment, I probably wouldn’t have kept my cool! This whole story revolves around Mike so I’ll be talking more about him then his dad, but this IS about Tony so read all the way down…
